Mina the Hollower is great in many ways, but the NPC writing and design is absolutely phenomenal. So many times I've been caught off-guard, or wrapped up in some strange NPC sidequest. This animation of the leaf banging its fist on the ground is my favorite 😭

When companies talk about using AI for stuff like NPCs, this is the kind of fun & creativity they want to take away. A lot of modern games fill worlds with generic NPCs to make them feel more "lived-in", but in Mina each NPC is hand-crafted & it truly makes the world feel alive.

This one silly comic has been on my mind for years. It's my most positive memory of Twitter. I want to create stuff like this. I want to be a positive force. Im tired of what I see on X. Ive scrubbed my entire account. I've been taking art classes,(literally because of this comic) I want to do fun silly comics. I vow the next time I post, it will be something fun like this. Thanks for the inspiration @othatsraspberry I dont know if you know how meaningful this kind of thing is.

mina may be tiny, but she's got a big game! 🐭🍎 i'm about 10 hours in, and i feel like i've barely scratched the surface. this game is only 842 MB, but it's BIG! all the areas feel so well designed, and it really encourages and rewards you for exploring every nook & cranny 💎✨

@ADogThatTypes I think it’s like the perfect amount of challenge for me — some things trip me up, but I’m able to learn and overcome them after a few tries
