I say this all the time! Even if AI pops like the dot com bubble did, that’s no reason to think the tech itself won’t be hugely disruptive and displace millions of workers in the years to come.

Maybe the AI bubble is popping, maybe not, but I’d like to remind leftists that lots of technologies that stuck around (including to the detriment of workers and society more broadly) start with overinvestment bubbles that pop, but they don’t go away. We need to legislate.
