Quick correction regarding my previous post about @phygitals
My issue was not that Phygitals was selling cards without physical inventory.
After speaking with them more, it seems the delay on my shipment came from the @Collector_Crypt side. @phygitals had been trying to help users claim and ship cards stored there, but those shipments were not being processed properly.
Because of that, they said they’ve now removed support for claims for cards stored on other Web3 TCG platforms, and going forward they’ll only handle Phygitals inventory stored in Web2 vaults like PSA, Fanatics, and Alt.
They also updated the system pretty quickly, so now users can check which vault a card is stored in directly on the card page before buying.
The delay was definitely frustrating, but I do appreciate the clearer explanation and the fact that they moved fast to improve the system after community feedback.

If you want to get physical Pokémon cards, do NOT use @phygitals The reason is simple: they don’t ship your cards. I claimed my card on February 28, and it still hasn’t even been shipped. I contacted support multiple times, but it honestly feels like they have no intention of sending it. Their customer service just keeps sending the same delayed-shipping auto-replies, and some of my emails haven’t even gotten a response. If you buy here and redeem, you could end up stuck in the worst situation possible waiting months without receiving your physical card, while also being unable to sell it. At this point, I’d only recommend using it as a marketplace. If you actually want your physical cards in hand, I highly recommend @Courtyard_io instead. Their shipping is excellent.

여러분 저 했어요!! 퇴사 했어요!! 🐨
2월을 마지막으로 22개월간의 Solv 여정을 마쳤습니다.
제 크립토 시작은 2019년 에어드랍 작업이었습니다. 한때는 NFT WL, 밈에 진심이라 밤새 챗굴도 해보고, 커뮤니티에 깊게 참여하며 수익도 내보는 등 커뮤니티 멤버로서 할 수 있는 경험은 다 해본 것 같습니다.
그리고 그 경험을 바탕으로 프로젝트의 팀 멤버가 되었습니다!
Solv에서
• 한국 커뮤니티 빌딩
• 온/오프라인 밋업/이벤트기획
• 커뮤니티 운영 전반
• 한국 시장 확장
이러한 일들을 했었고 한국 거래소 상장까지 이어지는 과정을 함께 할 수 있었습니다.
이번 여정에서 가장 큰 자산은 언어의 힘이였던 것 같습니다. 호주 유학 시절 오기로 공부했던 중국어 덕분에 중국 크립토 이너서클에 깊게 들어갈 수 있었고, 그 인연이 Solv 코파운더와의 만남으로 이어져 팀에 합류하게 되었습니다.
이후 여러 프로젝트의 파운더, VC ,중국 OG들과 소통하며 단순히 언어를 하는 것이 아니라 중국 이너서클 ↔ 한국 시장 사이의 정보 격차를 줄이는 역할을 통해 제 포지션을 확고히 할 수 있었습니다.
2019년부터 지금까지 불장과 하락장을 모두 겪으며 느낀 프로젝트의 고질점과 본질은 결국 지속 가능한 커뮤니티 그리고 프로덕트의 실제 사용성이였던 것 같습니다.
그래서 앞으로는 언어라는 무기를 이용해서 해외 프로젝트들이 한국 시장에 진입할 때 이러한 고질점들을 해결하면서 들어올 수 있게 노력해보려고 합니다.
(물론 유저에겐 먹여주는 프로젝트가 최고라는 디폴트 값은 변하지 않겠지만..)
다음 행선지는 아직 정해지지 않았지만 곧 더 재미있는 이야기로 돌아오겠습니다.
