From my personal anecdote 2 years ago, VNMC has been known in the community for being inconsistent in compensation towards composers/designers/illustrators. Please do your due diligence to check with the hosts on what you should expect before working for them. (3/3)

I want to spread awareness to osu! community that tournament work shd be done under mutual agreement of compensation EVEN BEFORE STARTING. It is the onus of the org to provide compensation info (even if vague) and for the artist to decide if it is worth working for. (1/3)

Some artists are ok with working FoC and having exposure, but others cannot agree w/ the same financial model for diff reasons. Terms of work shd be clarified even before production, and it may be considered a failure on the org's part to maintain this distinction. (2/3)
