The High Court didn’t ask the ED to stop arresting innocent people without trial. But the High Court is asking for videos of those innocent victims of the ED arguing for their freedom to be taken down.
It’s time to accept something is seriously rotten in this judicial system.

@Eternaldharma_ The judge wants to go to the supreme court. Can't take chances.
English

This is Sub-Inspector Dhananjay Singh Jatav. He was caught red-handed in October while accepting a bribe of two lakh rupees. A video showing him accepting four bundles of 500-rupee notes inside a file went viral across the internet.
Now, the High Court has granted him bail, citing the argument that the money was not recovered from his person or his pockets. Consequently, every corrupt official should now refrain from accepting bribes directly with their hands; instead, they should utilize files, bags, cloth sacks, or even plastic wrappers, since His Honor, the Judge, is inclined to grant bail based on such reasoning!
The video of Dhananjay Singh accepting the two lakh rupees remains available on every platform to this day; yet, the court has granted him bail based on such a flimsy argument. It is to be expected that he will very soon return to active duty and resume his old ways, after all, he is such a "promising" officer!
Why does the government not dismiss such individuals from service? It is not as if our country suffers from a shortage of young people willing to work!
Such dishonest individuals will invariably continue to cause harm to both the nation and society.

@DelhiPolice धर्मनिरपेक्ष भी! शब्द बाद में जुड़ा परंतु भारत 1947 से ही धर्मनिरपेक्ष है।

@LtGovDelhi Delhi Police has totally failed to protect Delhi. Their focus is to just harass writers, student activists and anyone who questions the system.
You as LG must act strictly.

Deeply concerned by the incident in Vasant Enclave involving the assault on a serving Brigadier of the Indian Army, his wife and son, a 23-year-old IIT Delhi graduate.
I have personally spoken with Brigadier P.S. Arora to enquire about the incident and their well-being. I also spoke with the Police Commissioner and the DCP, directing them to ensure a thorough and swift investigation, leading to immediate and appropriate action against those responsible.
I have further directed @DelhiPolice to provide full security to the officer and his family.
We remain committed to ensuring the safety of our citizens and upholding the rule of law.

@youth4bjp False? Her children are in govt panels. Its a fact that anybody can check!
Supporting BJP shouldn't turn you anti-India.

If a judge recuses from hearing a case just because of false allegations by the accused, the entire judicial system will be pushed to the brink of collapse.
Every criminal would then start demanding recusals just to stall justice.
Solution: Initiate contempt proceedings against Arvind Kejriwal.
English

As a Judge myself, whenever any verbal submission is made for recusal, We immediately refuse to hear it and instead put up the record before District Judge, in lower judiciary, she must have recused herself on her own.. what is the difficulty..
Bar and Bench@barandbench
"For the first time in my life, someone asked me to recuse." Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma reserves judgement on Arvind Kejriwal and others' applications seeking her recusal in the excise policy case. @AamAadmiParty @ArvindKejriwal @msisodia @CBIHeadquarters
English

@barandbench @prashantjha996 Lol. Why? Why are our courts so scared of scrutiny and accountability? This is absurd. Judges cant be the new dictators!

Love him or hate him, @ArvindKejriwal is undoubtedly the most courageous, articulate & unconventional politician of our times. He has the capacity of conveying complex issues in a simple manner which can be appreciated by the intellectual as also the common man at the same time👌
English

@ILINSARASWATLaw Then why did she deny bail in a case where the defendants were discharged?
SC called her judgment 'perverse'. She needs to be sent back to judicial academy!
English

I am indifferent to political ideology issue... after all, individuals including Judges are entitled to their own convictions and I have consistently regarded Justice Swarn Kanta as a sound and discerning adjudicator.
However, I hold an unwavering and earnest belief in the sanctity of a litigant’s faith and confidence in the judiciary (The Judge).
In the light of recent developments, Justice Swarn Kanta ought to tender her resignation forthwith without delay, as this episode represents the zenith of indignity for her and has rendered her a subject of widespread derision within legal circles across India.

The arrest of Vinesh Chandel, co-founder of I-PAC, barely 10 days before the Bengal elections, is not just alarming- It shakes the very idea of a level playing field.
At a time when WB should be moving toward free and fair elections, this kind of action sends a chilling message: If you work with the opposition, you could be next. That’s not democracy- that’s intimidation!
What makes it even harder to ignore is the double standard. Those facing serious corruption allegations seem to find protection the moment they switch sides, while others are swiftly targeted at politically convenient moments. People are not blind to this anymore.
When institutions meant to protect democracy start feeling like tools of pressure, trust begins to erode. On one side, the Election Commission. On the other, agencies like the ED, NIA, CBI stepping in at the most sensitive time. It creates an atmosphere of fear, not fairness.
India has always taken pride in its democracy- loud, messy but free. But today, many are beginning to ask: are we still that country?
This is bigger than one arrest. It is about whether our institutions remain independent and whether every citizen, no matter their political belief, can participate without fear.
Because once fear replaces freedom, democracy becomes just a word.
To Amit Shah and the BJP’s power structure- Be in Bengal on the 4th and 5th of May. Come with Gyanesh Kumar and every agency you deploy. Bengal will not be bullied, will not be silenced and will not bow. This is a land that answers pressure with resistance and it will show you exactly what that means!

@Shrikan98037458 @bong_politics They are not slaves of BJP
