@PierrePoilievre Nostalgia is not a strategy. Almost no Canadian trusts you to deal with trade policy. Love what you're doing in the polls though keep it up

A renewed tariff-free 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 auto pact will boost car production, lower prices, and protect jobs on both sides of the border. Conservatives will fight for our auto workers so we can bring Canadian car manufacturing roaring back. Strength at home, unbreakable leverage abroad.

He didn’t need to fly to India to learn they want to buy our energy. India has been saying that for years. The Liberal government is blocking our industry from producing and piping that energy to the Pacific. Get out of the way, by: - Pre-approving a pipeline. - Repealing C-69 and the industrial carbon tax to let the industry produce more now. No more photo ops. Results please.

Carney’s new defence bureaucracy will be an all-you-can-eat buffet for lobbyists & corporate insiders. Political connections will be the currency. High-cost, ever-rising contracts will be the prize. Our troops and taxpayers will pay the price. nationalpost.com/opinion/np-vie…

The U.S. Supreme Court ruling striking down unjustified IEEPA tariffs is a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, tariffs on Canadian steel, aluminum, lumber, autos, and other products remain despite the ruling, and continue to inflict real damage on Canadian workers and industries. In a successful CUSMA review, we expect lumber, aluminum, steel, and auto tariffs to be lifted. Anything less than this means our workers will continue to suffer. Prime Minister Carney promised to negotiate a win and get a deal by July 21 of last year. U.S. tariffs on Canada have gotten worse. The truth is no one can control what President Trump will say or do and so we must instead focus on what we can control. We must unblock our energy and minerals, unleash our economy, and bolster our military and self-reliance for leverage to fight for tariff-free trade with the U.S. Our mission must be an affordable, safe, and self-reliant Canada. As always, Conservatives stand ready to work with the government during this critical period in the interest of Canada.

@PierrePoilievre A political party at one moment is defined by the vision and character of its leader. Mr. Carney is offering a transformative and hopeful vision for our future. I suggest that you remain humble and reflect on why MPs in your caucus are willing to join the opposing movement.

Mark Carney is trying to seize a costly Liberal majority government that Canadians voted against in the last election through dirty backroom deals. Matt Jeneroux has betrayed the people of Edmonton Riverbend who voted for affordable food and homes, safe streets, and a strong resource sector. Conservatives will continue our fight for a Canada that's affordable, safe, and self-reliant.

The Liberal housing bubble has burst. Buyers can’t afford to buy. Sellers can’t afford to sell. And builders can’t afford to build. We must supercharge affordable building with tax cuts and faster permits: conservative.ca/cpc/end-the-ne…

The gap between Liberal rhetoric and reality is why we are the food inflation capital of the G7. We need to build things, move things, and fix things again. Conservatives will unblock our potential, get our resources to tidewater, and deliver a country that works for working people. We won’t settle for well-spoken empty promises.

304 BILLION BARRELS. That’s the real reason Venezuela matters. Sky News just laid it out plainly: Trump’s Venezuela obsession was never really about drugs. It’s about oil, specifically heavy crude. The U.S. now produces tons of light shale oil, but our Gulf Coast refineries were built for heavy, gloopy crude. They need it to function. And guess who has the largest proven reserves of heavy oil on Earth? Venezuela. Canada has some. Russia has some. But Venezuela has the most, 304 billion barrels sitting underground. That’s why tankers, sanctions, regime change talk, and now bombs. It was never about fentanyl. It was never about democracy. It’s about feeding refineries, controlling supply, and locking down oil before rivals do.

Congratulations to President Trump on successfully arresting narco-terrorist and socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro, who should live out his days in prison. The legitimate winner of the most recent Venezuelan elections, Edmundo González, should take office along with the courageous hero and voice of the Venezuelan people, María Corina Machado. Down with socialism. Long live freedom.

@PierrePoilievre Canadians voted for our elected officials to come to the centre together and work on common goals. Your constant combativeness & agitation is tiring and, if you haven't noticed, ineffective at winning votes. Why not table solutions that you could partner with? Ideas, not slogans.

During last month’s federal election, one of Mark Carney's most common slogans was "a plan beats no plan." Conservatives wholeheartedly agree. That's why it is so unacceptable that, today, Carney confirmed that he, in fact, has no plan and the government will not table a budget. As Canadian families struggle with rising costs and businesses face the crushing weight of American tariffs, the Liberal government is walking away from their responsibilities. After months of building expectations and promising serious leadership, Carney announced he will deliver nothing. Canadians were told that Mark Carney, the supposed serious economist, would bring competence and clarity. Instead, we’re getting delays and dysfunction. Parliament has already been shut down for nearly half a year. Now, in the face of serious economic threats, the Liberals don’t intend to present a budget this year. There is no roadmap forward, no economic vision, and no willingness to lead. This is not the leadership Mark Carney promised—it’s abandonment. Canadians deserve more. They deserve a government that shows up when it matters most, especially when paycheques are at risk and businesses are struggling to stay afloat. The failure to table a budget in this moment is not just an oversight; it’s a betrayal of workers and families across the country who expected this government to lay out its plan. Common Sense Conservatives are standing up for Canadians who can’t afford more Liberal neglect. We’re demanding a plan to protect jobs, defend Canadian industries, and secure our economic future from foreign threats. While others disappear when things get tough, Conservatives are ready with real leadership—and a real plan that puts Canadians first.

@PierrePoilievre Despite historic unpopularity from the Liberals, you failed to secure even a minority parliament . Your style of aggression, cheap slogans, and arrogance is unbecoming of the office of PM. I'd love their to be a viable centre-right option in Canadia but that is not you.Step down.

It is with humility and appreciation that I have accepted Damien Kurek’s offer to resign his seat in Battle River-Crowfoot so that I can work to earn the support of citizens there to serve them in Parliament. Damien’s selfless act to step aside temporarily as a Member of Parliament shows his commitment to change and restoring Canada’s promise. I will work to earn the trust of the good people of Battle River-Crowfoot and I will continue to hold the Liberal minority government to account until the next federal election, when we will bring real change to all Canadians.
