@scardeval All good! It's just an XLR dock that you attach to the back of a stream deck. It allows you to monitor and control your mic through your stream deck as well apply effects! It's a big upgrade, but you don't absolutely need it if you're using a USB mic!

@scardeval Yeah. I've heard some really weird gatekeeping comments about them. But ultimately, use what works for you! You'll have the opportunity to improve your setup as you grow if you ever want to!

@scardeval I recommend any condenser mic as the minimum. I personally have been using an AT2020 for 3-4 years. Really sturdy and budget-friendly mic! Pair it with an Elgato XLR dock if you have a stream deck. Or just a simple audio interface and you'll be good to go!

@scardeval But I'd say your setup is perfectly fine! I don't see why anyone disses USB mics. They're awesome for anyone who's looking to be even MORE budget friendly! My mentality is... if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
