Dear ENGENEs, We would like to release a statement in regard to ENtags future activities. We will not be continuing spreading tags, neither boycott nor the OT7 ones to respect the boundaries that Jungwon himself has set in today’s Weverse live. He has clearly stated several times that ENHYPEN themselves are choosing to move forward and he feels disturbed by the continuous enforcement of the “seven” on them, and since all of this has always been intended as a support movement for the boys, we will not be overstepping his decision. We would like to clarify that ENtags has been created with a sole purpose of showing our support for ENHYPEN and Heeseung. Everything we have done was coming from the place of genuine concern and the company is still at fault for how Heeseung’s departure had been handled. That being said, Jungwon has now publicly set a boundary and we, as ENGENEs, will respect his decision. It was never our intention to create a disturbance and if we have been seen as one, we would like to apologise to all ENHYPEN members for creating extra unnecessary tension and, therefore, we will permanently halt our activities in regards to tags. We would like to sincerely apologies to ENGENEs who have been continuously following the page for tags updates and say thank you for creating a beautiful and supportive community. Whatever happens next, we hope the future brings more love and support for ENHYPEN and Heeseung, and we will remain loyal to them as fans. It has come to our attention that there has been considerable confusion surrounding the project we recently announced. Unfortunately, that confusion has led to increasingly negative reactions, with some responses crossing the line into harassment. The project is not a sabotage; it is a means to bring OT7 ENGENES together, to unite for the seven boys. Everyone knows that follows us, those that keep an eye on our fanbase to keep hating, harassing and engage in the spreading of crude remarks, that we are a pro-boycotter fanbase. To clarify for those that lack the mere capacity to see it through; it is a financial boycott. Our goal is to stand for justice for ENHYPEN by showing love and support for all seven members without financially supporting Hybe/Belift. Supporting the group does not have to mean funding a company that continues to mistreat, overwork, and exploit the boys. That is the purpose of this project, to unite ENGENEs and celebrate ENHYPEN while standing by our principles. The fanbase being a pro-boycotting one means that we do not engage in streaming - as it financially benefits the company. Our project will happen a few days after the release of the comeback - mass tagging for the comeback itself will already be over by the time our project begins. It does not interfere with the mass tagging, it will not sabotage the comeback - and that isn't even our goal. How would tag dropping sabotage the comeback when it is in fact about protesting against the COMPANY, not going against the boys. Never against the boys. While on the topic, we don't camp under OT6's posts to spread hate, to harass, to call any of you names and other derogatory terms. We steer clear of you, so why can't you do the same? Does it really bother you so much that we still keep on fighting? That we didn't just give up like you did? We are causing no harm to anyone, so why are we constantly targeted for choosing to do what feels right to us? We have the freedom to do as we please, to fight for the seven of them, just like you have the freedom to choose not to. We find it very odd that people are targeting a project they have no clue about, a project that a group of ENGENES have been working on for so long to unite for ENHYPEN. We understand you don't like us, and that's okay. People don't always see eye to eye, we can always agree to disagree and move on. But resorting to hate speech? Resorting to aim to weaken us, to make us leave because you can't stand the thought that others don't think the same way you do? That is sad. Focus on other things - obsessing over a group of people you dislike to such an extent you take time out of your day to leave not one, but several hate comments, will not bring you happiness or joy in your life. Just block us, move on, make your life easier. It is not a difficult task. We have barely any hope that you will see reason, that you will willingly take anything from this post, but we thought we needed to clarify the confusion anyway.
