American taxpayers fund the federal government. Every federal salary, benefit, and pension. American workers should be the only ones running it. The Hire American Act is simple: if you want to work for the American government, you need to be an American citizen. The American people deserve to know the people running federal agencies, handling their data, and accessing classified information are Americans first.

See that rock in the middle of my yard? It weighs close to 150 lbs. That’s not where it rests normally. Normally it sits in the dirt next to the driveway to protect the boxwood hedge beginning at the bottom right of this photo, that’s been hit multiple times in the past. How can you drive this bad and be turned loose in an Amazon truck?
