we have done so much cool stuff this year, even though we mostly do the opposite of what's in the Successful Band Textbook. i love that we don't fit in "a lane." i love that we baffle labels, agents, festivals and podcasters. thank you Cheek Freaks for making it possible 🙂

i try not to screw up guitar parts or lyrics when we're playing a show but i also love that i can mess up and that the mistake is audible, because we don't play pre-recorded backing tracks tracks are so prevalent and normalized, and i don't get it, especially for indie bands
