She says her version Kara Zor-El is what makes the film beautiful, ‘its lack of emphasis on a male lead or a central romantic love story. She concluded her response.’

A UK man has received a suspended prison sentence after years of burning and selling unauthorised remix CDs featuring music from well-known artists.
Although CDs are a decades-old format, authorities launched an investigation in 2018 and spent four years building the case.
Marc Kearns pleaded guilty to multiple copyright offences. He received a 26-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months and was ordered to complete 250 hours of unpaid community service.
According to local officials, “This activity enabled him to commercially exploit protected material, generating income at the expense of legitimate artists and businesses within the music industry.”

and for probably twenty plus years it’s been explicitly this guy’s take, explicitly against “what usually happens”. and yet he still thinks he’s bravely bucking the trend. it’s insane.

Because Scream 7 is a good movie that ended up being the biggest film of the franchise for a reason.
Is it perfect? No and anyone who acts like it’s one of the worst horror movies ever are simply being disingenuous and are driven by political motivation.

Scream 7 is one of the worst-reviewed theatrically released movies of 2026 (a 2.2 rating on Letterboxd). Either my love for this franchise has blinded me to the truth, or a lot of people didn't give this sequel a fair shake given the backlash surrounding what happened to Melissa Barrera. I do think it's a small notch below the last two movies, but I have so much passion for this franchise that I don't think it's possible for me to dislike a Scream movie. I really don't. I don't love the ending, and there were a dozen other scenes that made me scratch my head, but it's not enough to turn me off the film as a whole. I love Neve Campbell and Sidney Prescott. Bring on Scream 8! *My wife, who hates horror and doesn't like Scream, surprisingly enjoyed it. I was shocked by how strongly she reacted to it, especially given its poor word of mouth compared to the other movies in the series. She specifically mentioned the pacing and never seemed bored.
