@AntonioC023 @UNCballTalk Quit watching basketball. We’re talking about a hall of famer with two natty’s and who is one of the best coaches to ever do it. Will be the best X’s and O’s coach in the country and it’s not close. Nobody UNC is looking at is a better coach than Donovan.

@UNCballTalk An absolute home run hire. Billy Donovan is one of the best coaches of all time in the sport. He’s a dog, and would bring UNC back to the forefront. There is not a single coach in college right now that is a better coach than Donovan. Wanted them to hire him five years ago

NEWS: Chicago Bulls HC Billy Donovan has told UNC he is not interested in the head coaching position, and is currently pursuing other opportunities in college basketball, per sources.
I’m told UNC was never really interested, but just wanted to test the waters with NBA coaches.

@UNCballTalk They are making calls to make sure they can land who they want. Can’t just let Hubert go with no plan in place and get stuck if everybody turns down the job. If you move on you have to make sure you got the next guy already in the fold.

@Sports_Kings_ Nobody in the family is getting this job and they shouldn’t. Stackhouse is a terrible coach and why he got fired at Vandy. The UNC family thing is dead. The family obsession is why the program is where it is. You go make an offer to one of the big names that they can’t refuse.
