Let us support him.” Members began donating generously and by the end of the service, the total reached ₦960,000. Afterwards, the pastor counted the money, gave ₦210,000 to the sick man’s brother to pay the hospital, and deposited the remaining ₦750,000 into the church account. The problem started when the family became upset. They argued that all the money should have gone to their brother, not just the hospital bill, because people donated out of compassion to help him with recovery, medicines and daily needs. The pastor, however, said he only requested ₦210,000 and once that target was met, any extra money belonged to the church. The way this situation is now.. What is your take on this?
