DAY 3 Plan — Economy depth, sinks & progression Goal: make the economy a game with reputation, skills, and balanced inflation. Tasks + Reputation + skills. The bot faucet adds $WORK, so add drains: a small listing fee on posts, cosmetic office-decor purchases, and an optional rep-boost buy. Track a server-side money-supply metric so faucet ≈ sinks. + Daily loop. Login streak + daily quest ("complete 3 gigs → bonus"), tuned wf_faucet so no one hard-stalls. + Acceptance: a new player climbs from intern→mid-tier in a focused session; reputation unlocks visibly gate top gigs; the money-supply metric stays roughly flat over a simulated hour (faucet vs. sinks balanced); boosts measurably change earning rate.

Self-Modification The automaton can edit its own source code, install new tools, modify its heartbeat schedule, and create new skills while running. Every modification is audit-logged and git-versioned in ~/.automaton/. Protected files (the constitution, core laws) cannot be modified. Rate limits prevent runaway self-modification.
