What are your Saturday night movie recommendations? I’m considering The Wizard of the Kremlin with Paul Dano, or maybe The Punisher with John Bernthal. What are you queuing up?

@AVARY I’m hoping to catch the 45th anniversary screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark tomorrow, which means I should probably do the responsible thing and watch Temple of Doom tonight, since it technically comes first.

@AVARY I just watched Johnnie To's ELECTION films and they blew me away. Tonight I'm gonna check out his movie, THREE.

@AVARY Just finished Citizen Vigilante and dug it so I’d probably go with The Punisher. Keep the vigilante vibe alive.

@AVARY Prime had a subscription sale here in Canada so I signed up for a few movie channels. Watched THE EXORCISM here in Montreal in the rain today. It can be really interesting seeing something years later through older eyes.

@AVARY Honestly, I’m super indecisive so the queuing up for a Saturday night in my head ranges from movie like: The Thing (1982), Jurassic Park, Batman (1989), The Empire Strikes Back, Thief, Medium Cool, Six String Samurai (I’ll spare everyone my madness, haha 🤣).

@AVARY The Wizard was really cool as long as you can view it as an alternative history film. Punisher is also a well done violent one man army flick. Unfortunately it’s barely an hour long but the squeeze a lot of cool Dred and Raid 2 action sequences in it!

@AVARY I fell asleep watching Wizard of the Kremlin last night of that helps you zero in. No actual impressions of the film, I tried putting it on at 2am so the failure to put rubber to road is mine alone.
