They do not assume that engineering is magic, or that they must be all-knowing magicians presenting a first-time perfect image. Engineering does not receive its designs from the gods, but grinds out knowledge millimeter by millimeter.

Hardly spin for "another" explosion. Honestly, I wonder if there was an issue with water flow in the deluge system. We've seen that system tested before and there's normally a lot more water. Either way, failure can certainly still be a success. You learn something every single time you try. Given that there's no problems with the booster or engines themselves, this is a huge win.

NASA didn't lose rockets in the early days just to say "oh well" and quit. Sure SpaceX is better equipped, but they aren't afraid to fail and try again!

@Biigmaaccee @SpaceX SLS had a ground side issue there a couple of weeks ago. Two of them, in fact, and one on the rocket. They had to roll this whole thing back. And that was on a LAUNCH campaign, not a first full test of a whole newly built system. Sheesh.
