@steakshapiro My son said "he has no route tree". He's been right about players a lot more often than not. Gives me a little pause. Is his NFL ceiling Taylor Gabriel, or is Gregg Cosell right when he says Branch reminds him some of a smaller Tyreek Hill? I don't know, but we will fund out.

@01Firecrackers True but his upside was bigger due to his urgency athletically. Smith is bigger with less experience. Plus he’s had some injury issues, but I’ll trust the process and see what Ollie does with him

@Everett_G07 As good as Young was offensively he has to be ball dominant to be effective and is always hunted on defense, constantly putting the other 4 guys in scramble mode. Trae is in a better situation now with Davis and Sarr to have his back defensively.

@WizardsMuse1 Trae’s a great offensive player but there’s a reason ATL traded him. He’s improved on defense but he’s still a liability and will be hunted on that end. He’s a ball dominant offensive player who takes too many bad shots. Davis is a great complement to him but cant stay healthy.

@Everett_G07 Love his low risk high reward template this free agency. Love his draft philosophy of stocking up draft picks to take multiple shots on players. Feels like the new regime has a well thought out plan and I’m excited to see these guys first draft.

For those of you that think this is similar to when Terry took over. It’s not even close. Terry was literally strapped, so he had to go bargain shopping to fill the roster. Ian could’ve EASILY created enough space to make a few splash signings. That means this was intentional

Catastrophic scenario for Falcons… Stoutland overlapped with former Eagles OC, current Saints HC Kellen Moore in 2024 during the Eagles SB run. Stoutland also overlapped with current Saints OC Doug Nussemeier in that same year and in Alabama in 2012.

The plan is for Jeff Stoutland to have some sort of involvement with the #Eagles’ organization. But he will absolutely have other teams checking in with him immediately. They’ve smelled blood in the water for quite some time and are interested in him.

I see a lot of judgment on here about how long someone “should” step away from social media, wrestling, or work when they say they need space. When something hits suddenly, it can feel like the whole world is against you and in that moment, quitting feels real. Some people find their footing in an hour. Some need days, months, or years. Harry Douglas was absolutely right. None of the Falcons fans I know like the Stefanski hire. He had a losing record in Cleveland and they didn’t like how he handled the Shedeur Sanders situation. They LOVE Deion in the ATL. It’s a Black city, with one of the Blackest fan bases in the NFL, and they have a Black QB on their roster — so a lot of ATL fans are side-eyeing this hire. Stefanski isn’t going to get a honeymoon there.
