Forgot my hands-free pumping bra for pumping at the office. Managed 30 minutes of very productive work with one hand holding bottles and flanges to my boobs. Pumped 9 oz. THERE’S NOTHING I CAN’T DO. Also, family leave and postpartum care suck in this country.

WTactualF. Kids getting murdered for being at school? shot for playing hide and seek? Can’t get the healthcare they need? How do we begin to fix this? It is depressing, demoralizing, frustrating. At such a loss. How do I keep my kids safe?

I come on here regularly intending to share some silly or cute thing my kids did because they’re my whole life now, but every time I do, I read news of other kids who’ve been murdered or are having their lives threatened.

Two weeks postpartum and I have ankles again. Yesterday, I could tie my own shoes. More importantly, my baby is eating (food my body produces) and healthy. In awe of my body.

In Mexico went to buy cheese and learned that cheese is no longer made in Cotija. Rather the cheese is now sourced from cheese makers up in the mountains of Michoacán and Jalisco.
