It is with deep sadness that we share that two Jazz pilots and ALPA colleagues were lost in a tragic accident at LaGuardia airport last night. Other crew members and passengers were also injured. Our thoughts are with the families, colleagues, and friends of all involved.

A passenger on board Air Canada Express Jazz 646, identified as Brady, has shared a firsthand account of the terrifying moments following the crash, along with photos from the scene as the aircraft remained on the tarmac. Here is his account: “I was on this flight and we are still on the tarmac getting checked out. I wanted to share these images in case it's helpful to anyone who is investigating the crash or needs more information. I'm okay (physically) but I'm horribly sick to my stomach for the lives lost. Air Canada CRJ-900 has collided with a fire truck while landing at La Guardia Airport. The plane, a Jazz Aviation flight operating on behalf of Air Canada, struck a Port Authority vehicle that was responding a separate incident around 11:40 p.m., according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Two sources familiar with the matter said the pilot and copilot on board the passenger plane were badly injured in the late-night collision. A Port Authority Police Department sergeant and officer had broken limbs and were stabilized at a hospital, they said. No other major injuries have been reported, the sources said. The plane was nearing the end of its landing, rolling at about 30 mph, when collision took place, the sources said.

Curious case in the desert… Delta Air Lines has two brand-new Airbus A321neo (N551DT and N552DT) delivered in 2024 that haven’t flown since. The aircraft were ferried to Southern California Logistics Airport (VCV) after delivery and have remained parked there ever since.

It was just a question of time, until the first #A380 would appear beside a road in Thailand as a restaurant/café or night-market attraction. HS-TUE (msn 125) was delivered in October 2013 to Thai Airways and was less than 7 years in service before grounded during Covid in April 2020. After years in storage at U-Tapao (UTP) it was dismantled in November 2025 and re-assembled in Rayong. Definitely worth a visit!
