The Xenoblade series sold around 8 million units on Switch. It's not the biggest JRPG series in the world, but Nintendo and Monolith Soft stick with it and with each entry the fanbase grows. Xenoblade Genesis could end up the best selling game in the series.

Women do play games more now, but certain games still have more male fans than female fans and vice versa. Obviously first person shooters and sports games appeal more to men. It's primarily white male chuds who like medieval RPGs and strategy games while girls like cozy games.
