In Uni, i became a star during clearance.
Here’s what happened;
I showed up at the admin unit in my first year for clearance, and there were 100s of other newbies. All asked to tuck in their shirts before entering the admin office.
Naive village boy just showed up.
City life was new. Everything was new.
New faces. New outfits. Fine people.
But everyone has to tuck in their clothes.
Then there’s me, in a multi colored flowered Ankara shirt, a white dry lace trouser and a borrowed oversized all stars footwear.
Nobody told me it was illegal to tuck in an Ankara shirt into a dry lace. My combination was already a hit, and then boom, I tucked in 😭.
In a minute, I became a star of the day 😂.
The entire admin team ran outside to see what was going on… the laughter, the attention… luckily, it wasn’t the social media age😂😂. I would have still been a laughing stock by now.
