A. Bonilla-Petriciolet is Professor of Instituto Tecnologico de Aguascalientes. He has worked as a research visitor at universities and research centers from USA, Japan, Portugal, Chile, Brazil, France, Cyprus, Ecuador, and Slovakia. He has published 342 papers in 94 JCR journals (Citations: 7269, H-index: 46), 27 book chapters and several conference proceedings in the areas of adsorption, renewable energy, process systems engineering, optimization, and thermodynamics. He has 2 granted patents and 2 patent applications in Mexico. He has co-edited 6 books published by John Wiley, Springer, INTECH, and OEI. He has supervised 14 Ph.D. theses, 38 MSc. theses and 10 Postdoctoral fellows. He is a regular member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences (from 2014), Associate Editor of Adsorption Science Technology (from 2016), Academic Editor of International Journal of Chemical Engineering (from 2022), Guest Editor of 3 special issues from Elsevier and RSC, and reviewer for 252 JCR journals (1389 reviews). He has coordinated 34 research projects funded by national and international agencies. He has been grant reviewer of calls from USA, France, Switzerland, Netherland, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Israel and Kazakhstan. He has been a member of the Scientific Committee of national and international conferences. He is the scientific leader of #MatPore Porous Materials international research network, and the Iberoamerican research network for the valorization and sustainable use of biomass – IberBiomasa that is recognized by the Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos (OEI). He has been listed in "ScholarGPS Highly Ranked Scholars" from ScholarGPS® - Meta Analytics LLC, 2024-2025 editions, and “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citations indicators” from Stanford University – Elsevier, 2020-2025 editions. His biography has been listed in “Who is Who” and “Who is Who in Science and Engineering” editions.
