Nos seus campos ela coletou as folhas de Helicônia para estimar o investimento realizado na aquisição de massa foliar. Para isso escaneamos, pesamos e medimos os níveis de clorofila, além da sua espessura.

In her fields, she collected the leaves of Heliconia to estimate the investment held in the acquisition of leaf mass. For this, we scan, weigh and measure the levels of chlorophyll, and leaf thickness.

Our doctoral student Jéssica Schmeisk finished the thin roots campaign with the AFEX team! This campaign consisted of removing roots every 3 months using a root trap and sorting them in the city!

Nossa doutoranda Jéssica Schmeisk que finalizou a campanha de raízes finas juntamente com a equipe do AFEX! Essa campanha consistiu na retirada de raízes que acontece de 3 em 3 meses usando armadilha de raízes (ingrowth core) e depois é feito a triagem na cidade!
