AFL InternationalCup

Due to the uncertainty around international travel the AFL has made the difficult decision to cancel the AFL IC21. IC remains an important part of developing the game overseas and mid next year we will review the ability to stage the event on the Sunshine Coast in 2022 or 2023.

The AFL today announced that the AFL International Cup is postponed to the Sunshine Coast in July/August 2021 with dates to be confirmed in late October. AFL thank the Sunshine Coast Council & TEQ for their support & look forward to welcoming teams to the Sunshine Coast in 2021.

The 2020 AFL International Cup will be postponed as a result of COVID-19, with the event to be rescheduled for July / August 2021. This decision wasn’t made lightly, with the health and safety of participants the #1 priority. More info in due course.

We're heading to the Sunny Coast! IC20 will be held on the Sunshine Coast from 25th Jul - 8th Aug with matches at Maroochydore Multisports Complex. GFs will be curtain raiser/closer to the Rd 21 match between Brisbane Lions and West Coast Eagles on Sat Aug 8. #AFLIC20
