@AShmoo Very happy. Garden is coming along nicely. All my furniture has now arrived so I have things to unpack into and get things sorted. Surprised how long it has taken.

“My mother survived hell… and still taught me to love life.” - Gene Simmons ✡️ By Gene Simmons My mother’s name was Florence Klein. She was a young Jewish girl in Hungary when the world decided that we were not human. She had dreams. She had family. She had a simple life. And within months… everything disappeared. The Nazis sent her to a concentration camp. They took away her name. They turned her into a number. They stole almost everyone she loved. She saw the worst of humanity. Hunger that bends the body. Cold that pierces the bones. The constant fear of not waking up the next day. But there was something they could never take from her. Her identity. She survived the Nazi extermination camps not because she was the strongest physically… but because she refused to let her spirit die. When the war ended, she was alone in the world. Alone. And do you know what she did? She didn’t choose self-pity. She chose to rebuild. She immigrated to Israel. She learned Hebrew. She worked hard. She became a nurse. She saved lives… after having come so close to losing her own. Then she made an even braver decision: To bring life into the world. I was born in Haifa. I grew up knowing my mother had walked out alive from a place where millions could not. She didn’t talk much about the horror. But her silence screamed history. She taught me discipline. She taught me pride. She taught me that being Jewish is not just a religion. It is memory. It is resilience. It is victory. Years later, when I became Gene Simmons of KISS, when I stood on stages before thousands of people, with fire, lights, and roaring guitars… I wasn’t just a rock star. I was the son of a Holocaust survivor. Every applause was an answer to the attempt to erase us. Every sold-out arena was a message to the past: “You failed.” My mother never sought fame. Never sought recognition. But her very existence was an act of historical defiance. The Nazis tried to turn the Jews into dust. She became a root. 🌿 She built a family. She raised a son who would conquer international stages. She lived long enough to see Israel strong. To see her son succeed. To see that the Jewish people did not disappear. That is victory. Not the victory of power. But the victory of survival with dignity. My mother taught me that hatred does not build empires. Perseverance does. That fear paralyzes. But identity liberates. And that when the world tries to define you as a victim… you can choose to be invincible. She survived hell. And from her ashes… I was born. 🔥 Am Israel Chai.

I’m in @Israel. 1) in Haifa, I spoke to the shawarma guys in Arabic; 2) I spoke in Arabic to our Jerusalem driver; 3) I spoke in Arabic to the physician who saw me for my leg; 4) I spoke in Arabic to all of the hotel employees in Jerusalem. Our interactions have all been friendly and warm. Israel really sucks in terms of its apartheid occupation.

Zohran Mamdani and Cea Weaver want to expand govt housing but just like all nice gentrifiers, they’ve forgotten that NYC is the worst landlord, and haven’t heard a peep on how they plan on fixing NYCHA housing .

Brooklyn’s Kings County Hospital 1994. In ICU after being seriously hurt and had to deal with the Jamaican nurses battling with the Asian nurses for 6 nights. Thank God had a fellow officer with me 24/7. Refused to administer pain meds, woke up to a blood soaked bed that took 4 hrs to be changed. Fly strip behind my bed with dozens of dead flies on it. Escaped 6 days later via my ESU EMS ambulance at 1am to St Lukes with two nurses cursing out the officers taking me. Refused to release MRIs and records to St Lukes saying they were lost. Other than my own guys nobody helped. Bratton visited at KCH and buds called his office with no return call. Thought I died and went to Heaven at St Luke’s. This treatment of cops is nothing new. I was far from the only one due to race and wearing a badge
Detectives' Endowment Association@NYCPDDEA

Last week, two NYPD Detectives were mistreated while seeking medical attention at NYU Langone – Cobble Hill Emergency Room after being injured on duty during the arrest of a violent perpetrator. Upon arrival, they were met with rudeness, disrespect, and a lack of basic professional courtesy by hospital administrators. It is an outrage that any NYPD Detective injured in the line of duty should have to worry about being treated at any hospital in the city they protect.  As nurses across the city strike over issues like workplace safety, treating Detectives poorly is not how to make hospitals safer.  No one—especially Detectives injured in the line of duty—should face such treatment. The DEA is investigating this matter and will pursue all available remedies to ensure our members are treated with the dignity and respect they have earned.

Thousands of Iranians have been murdered for fighting for their freedom against the Islamic regime in the last 72 hours. The United Nations? Silent.
Human rights organizations? Silent.
Amnesty International? Silent. Their silence is deafening.

I am a woman from Iran, and I testify that you, @SenatorPayman, are lying. As a woman, I was sentenced to prison. I was sentenced to lashes, and I survived one kidnapping attempt and two assassination plots—simply for expressing myself. Many other Iranian women can testify that they have faced the brutality of the morality police simply for showing their hair. Many mothers are facing repercussions simply for asking why the regime killed their loved ones. That is the reality of the Islamic Republic, the regime you are whitewashing. Fatima Payman’s statement sounds like it was written by the propaganda arm of the Islamic Republic itself. According to her, Iran is an “incredible place” for women, yes, so incredible that women are legally sentenced to lashes for not covering their hair. So incredible that they’re shot in the eyes, imprisoned, and murdered for daring to demand freedom. The Islamic Republic doesn’t “allow” women to participate, it controls, polices, and punishes them. If women had a real voice, why are so many of them in prison? Why are three women on death row right now, waiting to be executed at any moment for supporting “Woman, Life, Freedom”? Why was Mahsa Amini killed for a few strands of hair? The only thing women are “ensured” under the Islamic Republic is systematic oppression. Fatima Payman’s words erase the suffering of millions of Iranian women who resist this gender apartheid regime every single day. If she truly believes women’s voices are heard, I invite her to go to Tehran, remove her hijab, and try speaking freely. Let’s see how long she enjoys this so-called “democratic process” before she’s thrown in prison. You owe an apology to millions of Iranians whose suffering you have dismissed and erased with your blatant lies.

What happened to the social democratic leaders? All of a sudden, they are condemning Hamas and calling it a terrorist organization! Where have you been for 26 months?! For two years, these and similar agitators and terrorist-lovers have been chanting love to Hamas, the Houthis, and Hezbollah all over the United States, outside synagogues, on university campuses, and in public squares. Not a single word of condemnation came out of the mouth of these politicians. On the contrary, most of them endorsed and amplified the Qatar-sponsored narrative about Israel, Gaza, and the Middle East, which purposefully glorified and legitimized Hamas' violence as a form of "resistance" while demonizing and delegitimizing Israel for merely wanting to defend itself against a terrorist threat. In the process, they enabled antisemitism and exposed the American jews to unprecedented life-threatening situations. So, what has changed?!

Iran is a warning to the west. Students and the Left aligned themselves with the Ayatollah to remove the Shah. And were then crushed by him and his Islamist regime. Now Iran fights for freedom. The Leftists, students and liberals of the west should heed the warning.
