Why we disagree with the anti panhandling resolution. It is reactionary and will not get anyone closer to being housed.
We reject politicians bringing forth legislation like this and demand that they ONLY work on laws aimed at fighting the root cause.

The truth is that the LMSW exam does not make anyone a better social worker. BUT it has blocked many great and diverse social workers from entering the workforce at a really critical time. We're working to change that.

The press was repeatedly barred from the courtroom today during Donald Trump’s fraud trial — notably, while the judge ordered him to remove a social media post. New York law grants the public, and the press, a presumption of openness in court proceedings. We need transparency.
