What a privilege it has been. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hall of Famer and Champion Serena’s Song. She passed away peacefully from old age the morning of Wednesday, March 11th, and would have officially turned 34 on April 4th. Serena will be laid to rest at her lifelong home with us at Denali Stud. We would like to thank everyone for their continued love and support of her over the years, especially the Lewis family, and all of our staff and vets that cared for her on a daily basis. She meant the world to all of us, and changed us all for the better. We love you Serena, thank you for everything.

We are excited to once again bring back POKER FOR PONIES for its third year! This event was founded to rally support from the industry towards aftercare and protecting our horses when their racing days are behind them. We appreciated everyone who participated last year and are pleased to share that we raised funds for 50 accredited aftercare organizations, each whom received a minimum donation of $5,000 to put towards the horses in their care. My ranch is hosting the Championship Finals of Skijoring. This is a sport in cowboy country. My #OTTB, Order and Law, won’t be participating. I sent him back to sunny California for the winter. I’m sure he can out run any of the these horses! Should be interesting.
