@hallocopen_gr It's so weird talking to people who can't defend themselves. I would love that the Japanese could have the same rights as us. I don't say this out of malice or some sense of superiority. I want all distinct people the ability to preserve who they are.
Thank you to everyone in America for all the information you've shared.
Thank you also for the photos and videos of real guns.
I was born in Japan and am Japanese, so I can only own toy guns.
If you'd like, please take a look at some of my collection.
(The Arisaka Rifle Type 38 Infantry Rifle model gun is at my parents' house.)
Would highly recommend you watch David Foster Wallace talking about boredom, and why some people now find it so hard to read.
Sorely wish he were around today to hear his views on TikTok and the like.
Looking into Iran’s currency and sanctions this week, IRGC financial situation worse than pre-war (which basically was already collapsing), they’re not paying their guys (most of them now are foreign mercenaries, Iranians aren’t joining their units in big numbers). Bleak.
A trip to H.E.B. and I am still asking myself this question: "Why do people move to America and hate America?" It's genuinely surreal the mental gymnastics some people use so they can live in a better place but still feel somehow superior.
@Amadeus5656 Here is a picture of two of Teddy Roosevelt's guns. One is a Colt .44-40 revolver customized by L.D. Nimschke and the other is a Winchester .40-60 lever-action rifle, also by Nimschke. He wrote a book called "Ranch Life and the Hunting Trail" which I highly recommend.
@hallocopen_gr There are more guns than people in America. They do background checks before you buy them. Most states have concealed carry laws and require a license to carry concealed in public. What's crazy is that cities with the most crime have the most gun restrictions.
