India just signed a $1.2 billion deal for 300 Russian R-37M missiles for its Su-30MKI fleet 🇮🇳
And the timing tells you everything about where the Rafale negotiations stand.
Here is what the R-37M brings 👇
• 300 to 400 km range making it one of the longest range air to air missiles in the world
• Mach 6 speed with a 60 kg warhead
• Designed specifically to kill AWACS, refuellers and electronic warfare aircraft
• Only requires software upgrades to Su-30MKI's existing Bars radar
Deliveries expected within 12 to 18 months. Astra Mk2 and Mk3 are the long term answer. R-37M bridges the gap until they arrive.

To be true, Sikh Jatts have more bloodline matching with Muslim Jatts of Pakistan Hindus Jats have more bloodline matching with Muslim Jats of Haryana/UP/Rajasthan/Pakistan But, ALL JATTS AND JATS HAVE SHARED BLOODLINES Religion does not matter here

India is finally issuing the RFP for 114 Rafale jets 🇮🇳
Dassault Aviation will receive the formal Request for Proposal by mid next month following DAC clearance on February 12.
Here is how the deal is structured 👇
• 18 jets delivered directly from France in flyaway condition
• 96 jets manufactured in India with over 50% indigenous content
• Significant technology transfer and local industry participation required
• Deal central to restoring IAF strength toward the sanctioned 42 squadron level
The 18 flyaway jets plug the immediate capability gap. The 96 made in India build the long term aerospace ecosystem.
But the ICD standoff is still unresolved. And contract negotiations have not even started yet.
