This year our Branch is 105 years old. To mark the occasion we will be having a birthday bash on Saturday 6th June. As part of the event we want to put together a photo display of Alcester legion events, veterans & members. Please send us any photos you have & we will print them.

🏰 The King has arrived at Balmoral Castle where he was welcomed by a Guard of Honour held by Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland. 🐴 His Majesty met the mascot of the Regiment: a Shetland pony called Corporal Cruachan IV.

Born in Punjab in 1921, Havildar-Major Rajindar Singh Dhatt MBE joined the Indian Army in 1941 and served as a physical training instructor. His portrait features in ’Through Their Eyes’ - our exhibition to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. 1/2
