A technical question for those who have had problems with their Facebook account being attacked. Someone has compromised my business portfolio and locked me out! If you have experience, please help me regain access to my account and remove the scammers!
Dear @facebook About a month ago my account was compromised by a hacker. Despite the attempt to recover my account, you concluded that my account broke the Terms and Conditions. I even sent you a photo of my passport… You concluded that “I am not me”?!
My @Facebook account has been suspended, not for “hateful content” but for “fraudulent financial activity”. I don’t do any financial activity online. I don’t make money online or charge for anything - as a matter of principle all my social media is free to get access to
If someone changes your birthday on Facebook without your permission, you’d think you could fix it easily. But NO — thanks to Meta’s broken system, I’m stuck. Still waiting for support to respond. #FacebookFail #MetaDoesntCare
I’ve contacted @Meta support multiple times about fraudulent activity on my account. Nothing has been done. I’ve lost control of basic info on my profile, and now I can’t even fix my birthday. This is unacceptable. #MetaNeglect #DoBetterMeta
@GiulioAprin Good point! My business instagram page just got wiped out by meta, for no reason, no explanation given. 15 years of work history gone.

@ABC7 Thank you so much. My FB and IG accounts are suspended because of a hack (which is very easy to substantiate via Meta's own data logs). I cannot put a $ amount on my physical and social safety and security, which FB messenger provided to some degree.

Lost my (7th? I’ve lost count) facebook followed by 100k last month, demonetized on my (10th? Lost count too) instagram page, and just came off a 12 hour ban on X. Someone hire me. I’m so over this social media shit. Not even kidding. Get me the fuck out of here.
