You could also use sourceports to play the original q3, like ioquake3.
You could play the open source variant, which is free, Open arena.
I have a gut feeling q3a could be updated soon for 30th anniversary like q1/q2 did, so up to you.

@sizzurpdotmp3 Here's the catch: Back then these mod's were whimsical, free and community made, which costed the industry nothing and kept users happy.
Now they want you to pay like 5-20 usd for custom skins or alternate bodyparts, devs pay millions for rights and their update pace is so slow.

@TremiRodomi Just kinda curious is there some modern western animation that you find appealing?
Westen animation doesn't deal too much on the teen/adult side of things, so it's a breathe of fresh air when some animation deals with some deep topics.

Very disappointed. I've been with the show since the beginning and gave it a chance despite my feelings on modern Western animation. And it was really good! Until the finale said everything and yet nothing at the same time. I don't feel bad for Jax at all he's an asshole.
