-British guy goes to Africa: “What’s this animal called” -African tribesman: “We call it Okapi” - Western scholars: “The Okapi was discovered 150 years ago by that British guy”

For years, I have been warning Somalis about accepting and trying to link random ethnic groups like Gorane, Toubou, and Fulani from Chad, Mali, and Niger to our own tribes in Somalia. It is like we did not learn anything from what happened in Sudan with the Rapid Support Forces. Now we are seeing problems grow in places like Mali, and there seems to be a bigger plan to push these groups toward the Horn of Africa, especially Somalia. Since Ethiopia is Christian country with different in its makeup and already has a large population, so Somalia could be seen as the easier target. This could also give these groups access to the sea after they failed in Sudan. Also they could not reach sea access in west Africa countries. Since many of West African countries are ruled by strong military governments, and are Christian countries. so Somalia looks like the weakest link. Somalis need to wake up. These groups are not simple or harmless you have seen what happened in Sudan and the violence in places like El Fasher. We should stop being too quick to accept and connect every group to our clans and communities without thinking carefully.

im so confused
