Love you guys but you've given him more airtime than some people considering a run for President Sorry if I think it's important to state out loud on here my disagreements with a guy who says it's ok to murder people, Jews are inbred, America was responsible for 9/11 and Russia was right to invade Crimea, amongst other insane things.

@RoKhanna That's all I can think of, just off the top of my head. I'm sure I've missed some, and I'd imagine I'm misremembering some of them. Please feel free to fact check me. I support redemption, but only if it's earned. Despite being given the opportunity, Hasan has not earned it.

@RoKhanna (15) I missed one on the Middle East -- Hasan has said that "there are settler babies", referring to Israeli babies -- and not just those in the occupied territories. Paired with his statements on supporting Hamas in any act of "resistance", I find this concerning as well.

We are the party of redemption, believing you deserve a second chance if you made a mistake as a young person or deserve to make a life if you came here undocumented but work hard and play by the rules. Yet, when it comes to political disagreements, we have taken a very different attitude. If someone held political viewpoints we disagree with or said sensational or hurtful things, we feel vindication and moral certitude in our condemnation. Perhaps, we could learn from the great philosopher Ted Lasso, "Be curious, not judgmental." I'd like my party to lead in redeeming America to live up to our promise.

@AnAltExp @hasanthehun If he had made his take about US Zionist Jews and used that exact language, it would be latched onto as him attacking Jewish people. “Why is he speaking for Jews?” There is no way to talk about this subject without angering someone. It’s a mechanism used to snuff out criticism.
