I notice people commenting on Bill Fennelly. A couple things to keep in mind: 1. He is the only Iowa State coach to lead the Cyclones to the NCAA Tournament. 2. When he arrived, we were lucky to have 500 people in Hilton. We've averaged over 10k for 25 years. This makes us $$$.

Middle school is awkward. You’re never quite sure if you’re making a difference with students or not…and then 17 year old former students come back for a visit, share their future plans, and you realize…maybe we are making a difference, we just don’t always get to know it.

As educators we cross paths with lots of kids. Some stick in your heart for years to come. This kid is one of those. I’m not sure if he even know the potential that others see in him. #GoodNewsCalloftheDay
