We are taking forward a £5.7million project to support and conserve heritage buildings in Govan - including the Lyceum Cinema - supported by @GlasgowCC and @scotgov funding.
This comes on the back of recent developments such as the Govan-Partick Bridge helping renew the area.

To be clear it is a £40m project with £20m from Ryanair, £15m from the Scottish government and £5m from the UK government.
The key figure credited with organising the Ryanair–Prestwick deal was Kate Forbes, Scotland's Deputy First Minister.

Delighted that SPT has approved plans to move to increased operating hours for the Subway in Glasgow.
Later operating at the weekends and moving to standard hours on Sundays is a really positive commitment as part of the ongoing Subway modernisation.

While there is work still to be done as part of the @GLASubwayTravel modernisation process to allow this change to take place, this firm proposal creates an important pathway to later hours. This follows the introduction of contactless ticketing as part of this process this week.
