@Emppixel His promise was “the Belmont CLAN will hunt the night”, yes, but he is still the patriarch of said clan. I don’t think he’d be able to rest until he knew he could see his vow through, and I like the idea of him potentially finding closure through Rose a lot.

@Emppixel I see where you’re coming from. I think, however, that Leon continuing to walk the earth in pursuit of his target long after his own death is a poignant way to show his devotion to his mission and to Sara, and him having unfinished business from not fulfilling it yet makes sense.

About my other guess: The Fallen is Saint Louis. He fought with a sword (sword on the card), he was king (ermine mantle), he became a saint (halo), and he had a "crown of thorns". If you notice, there are thorns scars in his arm, and his "whip" is thorn-like.

@Emppixel I'm curious: Why? I think an indie-led castlevania game paying tribute to the games directly before it in the timeline is very promising for the future of the series. Not trying to hate, just wondering as to why you have this opinion.

@R0D1_R0CK3RZ The show existing doesn't change that the originals it's based on still exist too, and Isaac's comeback in the new game shows that nothing from before is being erased or overwritten. There's something to enjoy in every facet of the series(except lords of shadow it sucks)

@R0D1_R0CK3RZ I really don't understand why people hate the show. I've played quite literally every (single-player) castlevania game from the first game to LoS2 and i still thoroughly enjoyed the show for what it was. Adaptations can't (and arguably shouldn't) be perfectly accurate.
