As Severe Weather Preparedness Week comes to a close, Mother Nature is giving us a real-time test. Incoming storms mean it’s the perfect moment to review your safety plan. Stay weather-aware and stay safe.

March is #RedCrossMonth, but our mission is lived out daily. This weekend alone, our teams supported 75 families and 186 individuals across Missouri and Arkansas after home fires. Compassion in action, every single day.

Shelter Update: Our shelter, opened in response to this morning's large apartment fire in Little Rock, is now CLOSED. Thank you to our Shelter Partner Calvary Baptist Church! We assisted 30 people and will continue to work with the families impacted, our hearts go out to them and we want to provide all the support we can. If anyone else who was affected by the fire needs assistance, please call 1-800-RED-CROSS.

The American Red Cross serving Greater Arkansas has opened a shelter in Little Rock at the Calvary Baptist Church (5700 Cantrell Road) for those affected by the large apartment fire this morning. Red Cross workers are providing safe shelter and support as residents begin the recovery process. If you were affected by the fire and have not yet made contact with the Red Cross, please call 1-800-Red-Cross or go to the shelter to ensure we have your information.

Laura Dulles survived a life‑threatening medical emergency thanks to the generosity of blood donors she’ll never meet. Our Ready to Respond: Volunteer Open House over the weekend was a blast in Pine Bluff! The community got to experience a "day in the life" of different roles of service through the Red Cross.
