@AustinNovak86 And Jok's content because he doesn't care for fame or reputation + is intent on being a good employee + is super passionate about basketball but is obsessed with playing the game as it presents itself. We need a coach who can light a fire under his butt.

Every time I see the Spurs (my beloved) I feel such anger at what the Nuggets should have built around Jok. Wasting my boy's career. He's been bitw DESPITE the lack of any sort of clear-eyed commitment, organizational discipline or consistent culture in the franchise.

@AustinNovak86 Sad series of unfortunate events that could have been rectified with timely intervention from the owners. But I'm sure they've got at least one more championship around the corner (at the least). This group is good at despite-the-odds success.

@TheJobIsDone Our first issue is we had a Coach and GM that couldnt agree after a championship on how to build the team, one wanted young the other only played veterans, two injuries killed us and three cheap owners. All those combinations played into it. Thank god they won a championship

@AustinNovak86 It is, especially since we have a generational player. Not just special for the franchise but special for the league as well. The Spurs have well-curated championship DNA. Atp Jok IS our championship DNA and nobody seems to have a clue how to build around him in a lasting way.

@AustinNovak86 It's bigger than that. They've been myopic on coaching staff decisions, training and player development, trade, etc. They've allowed coach/GM relations to sour and affect the locker room. They've not had a clear organizational vision around Jok. They're not planning for dynasty.

It’s time for Sakic to move on from Bednar. Can’t beat Dallas or Vegas two of the biggest threats every year. Time for this @Avalanche team to move on and get a new voice in that locker room.

Once I saw the knights I instantly knew that this was going to be harder than Minnesota. Knights just know how to play the @Avalanche so well and make them play their game instead of their own. Not the way you wanted game 1 to go.

Nuggets have to get younger, faster and find a guard that can get to the rim. That’s got to be offseason need #1: A ball-handler that can get into the paint and put pressure on the defense.
