Ottawa's strength, when healthy, is their structure and style. With Halliday benched at the deadline (prospective deal?) and Kaliyev not being recalled, feels safe to assume that staff believes they have better players for their style and structure.

@GraemeNichols I mean. For sure. But they do have the ability for roster changes. With how decimated the Defense core is, and with power play struggling, you aren’t winning games only scoring 2-3 goals. So introduce Halliday/Kaliyev into your lineup in somehow. Nothing to lose…literally
