@rjchoppy Chop, i get you really liked him but he was not a good coach. I sat courside next to the him &his assistants drew up all the plays & did everything. He’s not a good coach. Hes good at being a “players” coach but outside of that, he could not coach himself out of a highshcool game

Not correct. He's not referring to the prep time because the prep time actually comes prior to 7 PM. They don't have time to rehearse a halftime segment because often times the video and graphics they use come as a result of what has happened late in qtrs. And they arent rehearsing the post game while the 2nd half of the game is going on. Could you imagine them rehearsing in the 4th qtr of Game 1 when the Knicks were rallying to win that game? It doesn't work that way

Why should they have been any good without Luka? The player he got traded for (not by Kidd, stop believing Cuban!) was always hurt and management was usually tanking!

@coopmavs @TheDunkCentral Disagree. He didn’t say on air, he said on television. It’s different. Time is spent preparing and rehearsing for each live segment and just being at work in general shouldn’t be diminished

They're not on air from 7P-2A. They're on for 30-60 minutes pre game. Theyre on for about 8 minutes at halftime. They're on for 30-60 minutes post game. So 2 hours at the most. Yes they should have fun, but Shaq and Barkley are two of the greatest to ever play, Kenny Smith is smart and there is no better ringmaster than Ernie Johnson to guide them to make the viewer smarter. You can do both if you're committed to doing both

Watching the NBA Playoffs and thinking more on the guards in the 2026 NBA Draft, we should be discussing Brayden Burries out of Arizona more for a much higher pick than currently projected. - 6'5" in shoes, 215 pounds - PHYSICAL playing style on both ends of the floor - WANTS to play defense, should be able to survive switching on different positions - 92nd percentile Total Offense Per Synergy - 299 PnR Including Passes POSS, 1.05 PPP, 10% TOV rate all good for 84th Percentile "Excellent" rating - 56% on 2P, 39% on 3P - 39% C&S 3's, 44% Pull-Up 2's, 40.3% Pull-Up 3's, 63.4% At the Rim This is a complete guard profile for a player that has an immediate role to impact winning. I like the ceilings of Darryn Peterson, Darius Acuff, and Keaton Wagler, but Burries might be more of a sure thing than at least one of those players, and could end up being the best guard in this draft class when it's all said and done.
