Started myself a little #BladeRunner shelf.

Blade Runner is 40 years old. Forty flippin years old. It’s in my opinion still perhaps visually and artistically the most amazing film ever made.

@RavensFilm So are the discs labelled 1 & 3?

This is hilarious. I heard they were the same discs, I didn’t realize they were literally the exact discs from the other set.

As an example of the level of detail I'm going into, this is how the death of Tyrell plays across each version.

Just finished lining up every shot in #BladeRunner. Looking forward to logging every tiny change I can find between ALL FIVE VERSIONS.

Got three shots into the movie before I stopped for the night, so far every shot was edited from the Workprint and recomposited for Final Cut. I assume the bulk of the movie will be identical, but so far it’s fascinating!

@RavensFilm I was doing TDE and whenever I tried to move the 2022 version with its 5.1 audio, my computer just sat there and groaned for several seconds every time.

I was too scared to even try, so I just... ordered the parts to build a new computer. It seemed neater. pcpartpicker.com/list/hLR8Zw

I'm not even sure my computer can handle this many HD streams.
