What we know—from poll after poll after poll—is that the majority of Europeans, Canadians, and Americans support restrictions on abortion. That restrictive, ethical line varies. For examples: Only if the mother's life is at risk. Or up to a fetal heartbeat. Or to the end of the first trimester (12 weeks). But without equivocation, NOT when preborn babies are viable (~23 weeks). Labour Party politicians—like many politicians here in Canada—have lost their minds and their humanity. Dostoevsky acutely wrote: “If God did not exist, everything would be permitted.” Including aborting babies. Including infanticide. But God does exist. As does the sacredness of human life. Though some people may believe or wish otherwise, abortion is not and never has been a Christian conviction. Since the genesis of the Church, this Judeo-Christian belief has embodied universal human dignity. From antiquities historian Michael J. Gorman, "[Christians] pleaded for the poor, the weak, women, children and the unborn. This pro-life ethic discarded hate in favour of love, war in favour of peace, oppression in favour of justice, bloodshed in favour of life." May authentic followers of Jesus—Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant—continue the life-affirming legacy of the Church, pastorally and prophetically. This is to say, love them both: mother and child. Our work continues. Elections matter. For those on this X string, if of interest, attached is a cursory overview about abortion and the Church.

I could now go to my 20 week scan. Find out that I am having a girl. Use fraudulent means to obtain the abortion pill using the postal service. Take the pill and kill my baby because I, or my partner, wanted a boy. And not face any consequences for it if I am found out. That’s the U.K. we are waking up to. Did anyone vote for this change? Was it in their manifesto? Nope.

The only time this was put to the electorate was in Corbyn’s 2019 manifesto - he lost. Starmer didn’t have the balls to be honest and put it in his 2024 manifesto. The public don’t want this. Abortion up to birth, for any reason is now legal. Note: you can already phone up, give a false gestation and get abortion by post. This is just evil.
Right To Life UK@RightToLifeUK

There has been no public clamour for this law change, nor did anyone vote for it - it was not in the Government’s manifesto. This is the greatest change to abortion law since 1967, yet there has been no consultation, no national debate and no impact assessment. 4/

To me it’s beyond comprehension how someone could be proud of something so evil. But it just shows the gulf between those rooted, to varying degrees, in the Christian worldview, and those following the ‘progressive’ mindset, where traditional morality is rejected and all manner of unspeakable acts become possible, and indeed inevitable.
