In 1991, senior point guard Josh Shapiro (@JoshShapiroPA) helped lead an Akiba team featuring @JTA CEO Ami Eden and Aaron Tapper to its fourth @TCISLPA basketball championship. Coach Tom Riley described the season as especially impressive considering the war in the Persian Gulf, as many team members had close family in Israel.
