Insane report. 250,000 is not a credible number. You completely undermine your own point with this hyperbole. The malfeasance of the perpetrators and those that were tasked with protecting the UK from them is bad enough, you don't need to lie like this. 250,000 is like 1 in 24 women and girls between the ages of 10 and 25 in the UK. It's not credible. I'd buy that 1 in 24 were victims of sexual assault during the time period, maybe, but 1 in 24 being victims of these specific "gangs" is absolutely ludicrous.

God, at least when Doctor Who died in 1989 it wasn't at the middle of some culture war bullshit.

The only episode I can think of that might not pass nowadays is the gay episode where Michael tries to grapple with Oscar being a gay man; but even then, it’s pretty tame. Maybe that kinda episode would’ve been too hard to make in like 2020-22 but culture is sorta past that.

Rainn Wilson says "The Office" probably wouldn’t be made today, telling Fox News Digital that media trends have shifted left and that cancel culture makes it difficult for edgy comedies to thrive.

the only offensive character is michael scott but A: everyone in the show hates him and shits on him for being like that B: they stop doing this with him like two seasons in and he just becomes quirk chungus

Rainn Wilson says "The Office" could've never been made in today’s cultural climate: “I think that would be too hard to be as politically incorrect as the show was. And I do kind of miss that.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/r…

@BattleMantee @jenny2x4 Racist/sexist characters don’t get canceled when they’re the butt of the joke, as Michael always was. That’s actually what “woke” comedy is. If a show consistently makes fun of gay and black characters but not straight white racist ones, that would probably get canceled.

The delusion here is incredible. First, there was never anything edgy about The Office, but to say this when the two longest running comedies still being made today are South Park and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia lol

I like thinking about this with Homelander, What Homelander ultimately wanted was for someone to really know and like him as a person, not adulation for his powers or out of fear, but genuinely just liking him But because of the way he was raised and the person he grew into that was impossible He had no idea how to actually interact with people normally, ended up developing a god complex, and his violent personality made it to where almost anyone who actually did know him would either fear him or hate him Which obviously doesn’t justify or negate his evil I feel I should point out, but it does show there is a tragic element to him
