They didn’t outsource adjustments. They learned to feel them. They didn’t run to technology every 0-for-4. They learned how to compete through it. They had to figure it out themselves — in the dark, in the mess, in the middle of a season when nobody was coming to save them. And because of that, they developed something you can’t measure: Ownership. Feel. Resilience. Technology is a tool. But awareness is a skill. We can't let convenience rob this generation of growth. #GoodBatting

Youth softball games have time limits, so this worked last weekend and got us another inning. Ended up tying it in the bottom of the next inning, but lost in extras. Had the visiting team not asked about time and the field ump say “15 seconds”, I don’t think it would have dawned on me. Props to our batter for executing on the fly without being given an explanation.

Buck Showalter had need the entire MLB rule book when he got the job in Bmore. Reason was “ I need you to know your field of work and always be prepared. Nothing should surprise you”. Are you an expert of your Work? Or just do?

Fake it until you make it. ☑️ Champions talk to themselves when the bullets are flying. You manifest your thoughts. Practice positive self talk. See it, say it, do it!
