Dan Dabrowski is now a 4x Discus All American! With a 50.57m throw on his 6th attempt he finished 5th in the NCAA! @PSBAthletics

Good first day all around, aside from BK winning the long jump, Dan Dabrowski was 3rd in Discus, Aiden Grieneisen was 5th in javelin, the men's 4x100 qualified for finals tomorrow, Carter qualified for finals in the 100m tomorrow. Women's 10k up next and then more tomorrow!

@stevemagness While stiffness is associated with performance ability, ankle stiffness in sprinters is another easy example, lack of functional mobility is also associated with increased risk of injury. Perhaps selective stiffness or specific stiffness, along with functional movement is good.

Many elite distance runners have horrible flexibility. They can't come close to touching their toes. Why? A stiff spring can be beneficial. Some research found the worse you do in the sit and reach test, the better your running economy.

As we get ready for the Mondo vs. Warholm 100m race, my favorite stat on this comes from @treyhardee... Mondo reaches a faster top speed carrying a 17 foot pole down the runway than Tyreek Hill reached in all of last NFL season.

USATF announced the Olympics Trials field and it's now official, the Behrend facility record holder in the 400m dash will be at the US Olympic trials for the 400m dash! Good luck Eric Gregory!
