I'm very excited to share that I've been selected as a Duke University KURe Scholar! With this funding, I will study the long-term impacts of radiotherapy on the bladder using tissue engineering with the goal of understanding and treating radiation cystitis in cancer survivors.

We have adiposely outdone ourselves with FAT-tastic ๐ŸŽƒ painting. Nicole was inspired by collagen matrix + fibers surrounding the eye-dipocytes with an endothelial lined smile. Julieta went for a classic spooky face behind a well vascularized adipose tissue w/resident macrophages.
