@BlueMasquer Absolutely this. I work predominantly on theatre productions & it’s quite an eye-opener. It is multi-factorial & there’s never enough time/money to get to work as deeply as needed. So yes, please add it in to your funding plans; you’ll be making me & many colleagues very happy.

It's not just since Covid that actors are without strong vocal technique. I have been experiencing this with many actors who trained in the last 20 years. I am contemplating adding a vocal coach to my fundraising plans. theguardian.com/stage/2025/oct…

@Judi_Amato Council funders have special funds for 18-25 year olds that people like to access for their own programmes. Private boards are made up of retired tax accountants that were talked out of the arts when they were young, and want to give someone else to have that chance instead.

I need someone smarter than me to articulate why age restricted opportunities are actually a classist, ableist mess. I know it’s funding restrictions, but again why are we tying funds to age?? Not even athletes lose all opportunities at 27

@ZabihullahAtal No. Please don't use AI to write and publish children's books. Children need to have access to GOOD writing to develop their brains, and develop their own literacy skills. Feeding them AI-written-literature is the same as feeding them chemical-laden junk food.
