Folks, an update from Brazil... BOBH representative Cesar Nogueira has informed us of a conference call (BOBH legal/comms), held Mon Mar6 (Brazil time) with airport officials in Brasilia, and that steady positive forward progress is being made on securing NZC.

The Pratt & Whitney JT8D low bypass turbofan is one of the most significant jet powerplants in the history of aviation - starting life on the 727, the DC9 , later the 737 and not to forget the Dassault Mercure. See more info and video on our FB page #bringourbirdshome

Folks we are getting set to finally move our JT8D-15 engines from Mojave CA USA to Port Chalmers NZ and then on to the home of Bring Our Birds Home - The National Transport & Toy Museum in Wanaka - where they will displayed #BringOurBirdsHome

It's amazing what you find rolled up in a draw where they've been sitting for decades. Mike Venning found these original posters in new condition from his father's day as a NAC/Air NZ aircraft engineer (now retired). Mike will be kindly donating them to Bring Our Birds Home
